The Franklin Art Association was established in 1971 to provide a forum for the promotion of visual arts; for the preservation of the finest artistic traditions by means of exhibiting works, conducting classes, lectures, and sponsoring other activities favorable to artistic expression and to provide friendly exchanges among painters, photographers and those interested in the fine arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Annual “Fakes and Forgeries”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Franklin Art Association warmly welcomes the public this free public display featuring artistic reproductions and creative interpretations of masters\u2019 artworks by local artists. The exhibit will run from May 16 to June 6 during Museum hours at the Franklin Historical Museum, 80 West Central Street, Franklin downtown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artists: Pick-up will be on June 7th, 4:00-6:00 PM at the Museum.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Franklin Art Association takes pride in offering a student scholarship yearly to a local art student wishing to pursue art instruction after high school graduation. Donations are Welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n

Monthly Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month from September to May at the Franklin Senior Center, 10 Daniel McCahill St, Franklin, MA (directions<\/a>), with a short business meeting starting at 6:30 followed by the featured presentation. FAA welcomes the public and its members to attend. Refreshments are served at the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAA meetings are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
