About FAA

The Franklin Art Association was established in 1971 to provide a forum for the promotion of visual arts; for the preservation of the finest artistic traditions by means of exhibiting works, conducting classes, lectures, and sponsoring other activities favorable to artistic expression and to provide friendly exchanges among painters, photographers, sculptors and those interested in the fine arts.

Regular monthly meetings are held at the New Franklin Senior Center, a large new building located diagonally across from the town common and across from St. Mary's Church, from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., the first Thursday of each month, September through June.

FAA Partnership with EMC Corporation — New Gallery

EMC has asked the FAA to provide artwork for a new gallery at their corporate headquarters. This is a wonderful opportunity for your work to be seen by some of the country's top executives. Attached is a prospectus and entry form — I encourage everyone to submit pieces for consideration. The first exhibition will open April 1; entry deadline is March 15 — we want to strike while the iron is hot! I look forward to seeing all of your work. My thanks to Shelly Eager, who helped make this possible.
